South African Getaways

As an intern in South Africa, I had every Sunday off, and had a 4-day break on my fifth week on base. As such, I got to visit and stay 2 nights in Kruger National ark, as well as ventured to the Drakensberg mountains on the Panorama tour.

This was the view on one of our stops during the tour, which took my breath away.

And of course during our trip to Kruger, my four friends; Isla, Emily, Saskia, and Annabelle, and myself - got lucky enough to see Hyena, Sable, Lions, Leopard, and African Wild Dog while we stayed there. We enjoyed a few guided Safari drives - both sunset and sunrise as well as an amazing walking safari.
