An Experience to Remember

After staying in two hotels (and running into a small hiccup on the way with flights), the small group I was a part of finally reached Snow Leopard Lodge in Ulley. The experience, the people, and the memories I have... no words can come close to describing the time I had. The lodge itself is stunning, surrounded by the Himalayas and Valleys filled with magnificent wildlife such as Asian Ibex and of course... Snow Leopards!

The lodge is warm, with staffing and group members making it feel just like home despite being so far from the United States. Benches with pillows and hot coffee or tea always ended a day after some absolutely incredible times. Snow Leopard sightings, camera trap replacements, even some amazing vaccination days with Mission Rabies which resulted in 150+ dogs vaccinated.

If searching for a true, wonderous experience filled with amazing sightings, scenery and people/community - Snow Leopard Lodge is the place to go. Varun runs Monkey Business Safaris and I can't recommend him enough to anyone wanting to do any type of safari in India, Nepal, or anywhere else. He is fantastic and if I could give him 6 stars - I totally would!!
