Current Internship Updates

March 14, 2023: Discussed and decided on a possible internship for 2025, no other news so far.

March 23, 2023: The Madagascar Wildlife Conservation Internship is booked for 2025. No other news at the moment, but keep your eye here to see what is happening while my friends and I begin to set up fundraisers and create artwork for what we love! 

​

March 16, 2025: A project proposal was drafted and sent to the Program Manager in Nosy Be focusing on lemur behavior (especially from nocturnal species). A travel consult was done, and all necessary vaccines and medications were ordered. 

​

March 28, 2025: Final information gathered and added to the methods of the project proposal. 

​

April 12, 2025:  Flights are booked:  departure is set for June 19 and set to arrive in Fascene, Nosy Be on June 21. 2 trail cameras have been secured and ready to come to Nosy Be with me. 

​

May 20, 2025:  Wildlife Acoustics Song Meter Micro 2 achieved. This piece of equipment will be used to collect bioacoustic recordings. 

​

June 1, 2025; Final bits of equipment achieved and delivered. Now, carefully reorganize and prepare to head out on June 19 (17 days to go!).

About Me

I am a recent college graduate and have always dreamed of traveling and learning abroad. I am 23 years old and want to pursue my dream and make it a reality. I grew up attending an environmental sciences school, and both parents are in the biology and science field career-wise.
